Prabowo Receives Credentials from Nine Friendly Nation Ambassadors, Here is the List
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received letters of credence from nine Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) Designate Resident to Indonesia during a formal ceremony at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, 9 June 2026. The presentation of the credentials marks the official commencement of the friendly nations’ ambassadors’ tours of duty in Indonesia, whilst symbolising the strengthening of diplomatic relations with various partner countries. The credential presentation procession began with a formal welcome for the ambassadors at the Merdeka Palace. Upon arrival at the palace, the national anthem of each country was played as a mark of respect for the representatives of friendly nations. Subsequently, the ambassadors took turns entering the credentials room to present their letters of credence to President Prabowo. On this occasion, the Head of State personally received the official documents signifying the start of the ambassadors’ diplomatic missions in Indonesia. The nine ambassadors who presented their credentials to President Prabowo are: 1. Manuel Estuardo Roldan Barillas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Republic of Guatemala to the Republic of Indonesia; 2. Sultan bin Mubarak Saad Al-Dosari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Indonesia; 3. Abdirashid Salat Abdille, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Republic of Kenya to the Republic of Indonesia; 4. Ratu Isoa Delamisi Tikoca, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Republic of Fiji to the Republic of Indonesia; 5. Redouane Houssaini, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Indonesia; 6. Maria Gabriela Vieira Soares de Albergaria, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Portuguese Republic to the Republic of Indonesia; 7. Bernardo Brea Rodriguez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Republic of Panama to the Republic of Indonesia; 8. Hong Kwang Il, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Republic of Indonesia; 9. Antonio Rodrigues Jose, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Designate Resident of the Republic of Mozambique to the Republic of Indonesia. After presenting their credentials, each ambassador held a photo session with President Prabowo. Following the photo session, President Prabowo received the ambassadors at a meeting on the back veranda of the Merdeka Palace. The meeting served as an initial opportunity for the ambassadors to convey greetings and messages from their respective heads of state, whilst further strengthening diplomatic ties with Indonesia.
