Prabowo Reaffirms Indonesia's Independent and Active Foreign Policy

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has emphasised that Indonesia conducts an independent and active foreign policy by building friendships and cooperation with various countries.

“Traditionally, Indonesia’s stance and our view on international relations is that we always want to be free and active. We have been non-aligned since the beginning; we do not want to join any specific blocs,” said Prabowo during the ‘President Prabowo Answers’ programme, as quoted in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The President asserted that Indonesia strives to establish good relations with all nations.
