Prabowo: Ramadan Greetings to the People of Jordan

President Prabowo Subianto conveyed Ramadan greetings to the people of Jordan. The expression of blessings for Ramadan was delivered by Prabowo during his meeting with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, at the Basman Palace, Amman.

Initially, Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the reception given by the Jordanian government for his visit. The Head of State even mentioned that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is his second home. “On behalf of Indonesia and personally, I would also like to wish Ramadan Mubarak to the people of Jordan,” said Prabowo in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat’s press release.

President Prabowo visited the Basman Palace, Amman, today, to hold a bilateral meeting with King Abdullah II. Prabowo had previously arrived at Marka Air Base, Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Tuesday evening, February 24, 2026.

Before landing, Prabowo’s flight was escorted by two F-16 fighter jets belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force. When entering Jordanian airspace, Prabowo exchanged greetings with the fighter jet pilot. One of the F-16 pilots greeted and welcomed Prabowo via radio communication from inside the cockpit. He also conveyed Ramadan greetings to Prabowo. “It is a great honor to escort your flight this evening. We hope you enjoy your visit and have a safe landing. Ramadan Mubarak, Sir,” said the pilot, as quoted from a video statement from the Presidential Secretariat, Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Prabowo responded to the pilot’s greeting. He expressed his appreciation for the escort in Jordan. Prabowo said he was happy to be back in Jordan. “Thank you very much, this is Indonesia One. Once again, Ramadan Mubarak. All the best to you in this holy month,” said Prabowo.
