Prabowo Pushes for Acceleration of Downstreaming in 13 Locations Across Indonesia

President Prabowo Subianto received the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) as well as Head of the Nusantara Future Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Friday (24/4/2026).

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated in a written release that the meeting discussed the development of the downstreaming programme in 13 locations across various regions in Indonesia.

Furthermore, Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that the meeting also addressed several investors planning to invest in Indonesia.

“Several investors will invest in Indonesia, particularly in the fields of waste-to-energy, mineral resources, as well as the agricultural industry, labour-intensive industries, and garments,” added Cabinet Secretary Teddy in his statement.
