Prabowo Provides Aid of 180 Starlink Units and 200 Mobile Phones on Miangas Island, North Sulawesi

A total of 180 Starlink modems and 200 mobile phones (handphones/HP) were distributed. Prabowo then assured Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid to continue strengthening digitalisation on Miangas Island.

“There is Minister Ibu Meutya here; Ibu Meutya is the Minister of Communication and Digitalisation, and she will provide handphones, right? There are Starlink and handphones for all households,” he stated.

Previously, Prabowo also gave a fishing boat as a gift on Miangas Island. The boat is large, measuring 15 gross tons.

“Today we are also providing aid—where is that fishing boat we are helping with? The Minister of Fisheries is here. Do you know him? Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. His full name is Sakti Wahyu Trenggono; he is responsible for sea and fisheries issues. Today we are providing aid: one boat, how big is it? 15 gross tons—it’s quite large, extraordinary,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo then revealed plans to build a fishing village. He instructed Trenggono to start construction next month.

“But he also plans that we will build a special fishing village. When to start? This year? Starting next month, the construction will begin—watch out, I will check again later,” he said.
