Prabowo Proud of PKH Task Force for Saving Rp 370 Trillion in 1.5 Years: 10 Percent of the State Budget

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Prabowo Subianto has expressed pride in the Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH) which has successfully saved Rp 370 trillion over the 1.5 years since he took office as Head of State. He stated that this total is equivalent to 10 percent of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN). “This task force has succeeded in regaining control of state assets in forest areas, which, when valued, amount to around Rp 370 trillion. Meanwhile, our entire APBN is Rp 3,700 trillion,” said Prabowo, during the handover of administrative fines and state fund recovery at the Attorney General’s Office in South Jakarta, on Friday (10/4/2026). “This means that what the Satgas PKH has done in the past one and a half years has saved nearly 10 percent of the APBN,” he added. The schools, he continued, are equipped with digital screens to facilitate learning. “We are improving all schools throughout Indonesia, making them modern, equipping them with digitalisation through smart digital screens, and repairing all sanitation facilities in all our schools,” said Prabowo. In addition, those funds can be used to build bridges in villages to facilitate local residents’ access. “We can imagine the change in the fate of our people with the recovery of money and assets that you have achieved,” he stated. Therefore, on behalf of the state and nation, Prabowo expressed thanks to the Satgas PKH for their work in saving state funds. Moreover, the inspections, audits, and field checks are not easy because Indonesia is a vast country. “For us, for the elites in Jakarta, in air-conditioned rooms, we can imagine how difficult the work of the Satgas PKH is. And I understand you, I understand because as a president, I have many eyes and ears, I know that many Satgas PKH members have been threatened, some intimidated, and so on; once again, I greatly appreciate your work and sacrifices,” said Prabowo.
