Prabowo proud 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony ran solemnly

President Prabowo Subianto expressed pride after the ceremony commemorating the 81st anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday, proceeded in an orderly and solemn manner.

The statement was delivered by Prabowo in his capacity as inspector of ceremonies after receiving a report from parade commander Infantry Colonel Priyo Handoyo that the entire sequence of the ceremony had been completed.

“The ceremony has been carried out. Report complete,” said the parade commander when reporting to President Prabowo.

Prabowo then conveyed his appreciation for the execution of the ceremony, which had taken place in an orderly and solemn manner.

“Thank you for the execution of the ceremony, which has proceeded in an orderly and solemn manner. I am proud of you all,” said Prabowo.

After conveying his appreciation, Prabowo asked the parade commander together with all unit commanders to appear before him.

“After this, the parade commander and all unit commanders are to appear before me. Carry on,” said President Prabowo.

Prabowo acted as inspector of ceremonies in the commemoration ceremony for the 81st anniversary of Indonesia’s independence, which was held in the grounds of Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

The 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia carried the theme “A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia.”

At Merdeka Palace, the ceremony marking the seconds of the proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as well as former presidents and vice presidents.

In the procession of the 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony, President Prabowo wore a blue beskap, complete with a songket cloth at his waist. Meanwhile, Vice President Gibran wore traditional attire characteristic of the people of East Nusa Tenggara.
