Prabowo Presents the Macro-Economic Framework and Core Fiscal Policy (KEM-PPKF) 2027

Jakarta — President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, presented the Macro-Economic Framework and Core Fiscal Policy (KEM-PPKF) 2027 to the House of Representatives at a plenary session, held to coincide with the commemoration of National Awakening Day on 20 May 2026.

“I wish to convey my highest appreciation to the leadership and members of the MPR, DPR, and DPD for convening this DPR plenary session, which was attended by members of the DPR and DPD and coincides with our National Awakening Day,” Prabowo said during the plenary meeting in the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.

“I deliberately requested time to stand before you all. To personally set out the direction of our state’s economic and fiscal policy,” he added.

“The attendance list at the start of today’s DPR plenary was signed by 451 members, from all factions represented in the DPR RI,” said Speaker of the DPR Puan Maharani as she opened the session at the Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (20 May 2026).

This meeting was also attended by party leaders including NasDem chairman Surya Paloh, Golkar chairman and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, PAN chairman and Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Demokrat chairman and Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and PKS president Almuzammil Yusuf.

State officials and heads of state bodies were also present at the event.
