Prabowo Prepares 400 BUMN Leadership Candidates for Nine-Month Training at Hambalang
President Prabowo Subianto addressed participants of the Presidential Future Leaders Program (PFLP) 2026 in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Sunday, 24 May 2026. The first cohort of 400 participants is part of the government’s effort to strengthen leadership quality within BUMNs.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the programme was specifically designed by President Prabowo to prepare future BUMN leaders.
“This programme, specially designed by the President, is intended to shape future leaders for BUMN companies,” Wijaya said in a written statement on Sunday.
Wijaya added that the PFLP supports President Prabowo’s vision for good BUMN governance through human resource development with “best heart and best mind”.
The nine-month educational programme is divided into three phases, starting with character and discipline building over three months, according to Wijaya.
He further explained that participants would spend four months strengthening their managerial capacity and decision-making skills at Danantara Corporate University before completing a two-month internship in ministries, institutions, or BUMN environments.
Wijaya emphasised the programme is part of the government’s broader strategy to prepare high-quality human resources to lead BUMNs in the future.
“This step is part of the government’s major strategy to develop professional, integrity-driven BUMN leaders capable of addressing Indonesia’s future challenges,” he concluded.
