Prabowo Praises Police's 1,000 Nutrition Centres: 'The Best Kitchens'
President Prabowo Subianto has expressed appreciation for the Indonesian National Police’s role in supporting the Free Nutritious Meals programme through the construction of more than 1,000 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units, or kitchens. He made the remarks during a speech at the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony at the Police Mobile Brigade Corps training facility in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday.
“The Police have also actively built more than 1,000 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units, or kitchens, for the Free Nutritious Meals programme,” Prabowo said. He did not hesitate to praise the facilities, stating that the kitchens built by the Police are the best for the programme. He added that this view is shared by many others.
“And I do not hesitate to say here, the kitchens built by the Police are the best kitchens,” Prabowo stated. “And this is not just my opinion; many observers and reviewers from international institutions who have come to Indonesia to see these kitchens have mostly viewed the kitchens built by the Police.”
On the occasion, Prabowo also commended the Police’s involvement in supporting the national food security programme, particularly in maize production. “I have seen for myself the Police building much-needed food warehouses, warehouses of very good quality,” he said.
Furthermore, Prabowo highlighted the Police’s ongoing efforts to construct water boreholes and bridges in various regions. “And helping communities affected by disasters. This is the spirit that you must continue to maintain,” he concluded.
