Prabowo Points to Rp 11.4 Trillion Pile: We Prove We Are Saving the People's Money
“I order the Attorney General to enforce the law; those who refuse to cooperate, prosecute them. We must not hesitate, and we must not be afraid,” said Prabowo in his speech at the Attorney General’s Office on Friday (10/4/2026).
“The firmer we are, the stronger we stand, the more we defend the people, the more we will be opposed, the more we will be attacked—do not worry,” he continued.
Prabowo stated that lawbreakers can use all means, including the money they have stolen. While pointing to a pile of Rp 11.4 trillion in funds seized from corruption cases and administrative fines for the misuse of forest areas, Prabowo said the people are proud of the ongoing law enforcement efforts.
“How many more times will we prove that we want to secure and save the people’s money? How many more times will we prove it? We will not stop, we will not be afraid; we move forward continuously to defend the nation and state,” he declared.
Prabowo then stepped forward to the podium. He saluted the law enforcement apparatus for their work in defending the people’s interests.
“Keep fighting, keep fighting; I respect your work. We are ready to die on the right path; defending the people is a very noble job,” he emphasised.
As is known, in October 2025, the Attorney General’s Office had seized funds worth Rp 13,255,244,538,149 related to the corruption case of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) export approvals for the 2021-2022 period. Then, in December 2025, the Attorney General’s Office also handed over funds of Rp 6,625,294,190,469.74 to the state through Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
