JAKARTA — President Prabowo Subianto has stated that Danantara Indonesia has demonstrated exceptionally strong performance over the past year, achieving a return on assets (ROA) of more than 300 per cent.

The President said that this achievement demonstrates significant potential for the management of state-owned enterprise (BUMN) assets when managed in an integrated and professional manner.

“I have received a report and I am quite pleased; return on assets over one year in 2025, compared to previous years, has risen more than 300 per cent,” said Prabowo during Danantara’s first anniversary celebration in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

Danantara currently manages nearly 1,000 companies, comprising subsidiaries and sub-subsidiaries of BUMNs.

According to Prabowo, with solid unified control and under the right management, the state enterprise has now achieved remarkable results.

Additionally, Prabowo emphasised that this positive performance serves as evidence that Indonesia possesses considerable potential in managing national wealth in a more productive manner.

However, Prabowo cautioned that Danantara still faces substantial work ahead, particularly in generating net profits that exceed the total assets it holds.

The government will continue to promote transparent, professional and accountable management of state assets to ensure optimal returns for the nation and state.
