Prabowo: Our Future Is Very Bright!

President Prabowo Subianto has declared that Indonesia’s future is very bright, speaking at the launch of the B50 biodiesel, a fuel with a 50 percent palm oil blend. He stated that this policy would allow the country to save Rp 170 trillion (US$100 billion) in foreign exchange by reducing the need for diesel imports. “Imagine, we can save foreign exchange of Rp 170 trillion,” the Head of State said at the event in Karawang on Thursday (9/7/2026). The President also noted the government’s success in enforcing the law to secure state resources, including combating tin smuggling which could reach US$2-3 billion. Furthermore, he revealed that an expedition lasting two to three weeks in the mountains of Papua had discovered new gold and mineral reserves. The expedition team consisted of elements from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), several universities, and was assisted by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). “So, brothers and sisters, our future is very good, very bright. We just need to continue pioneering, continue what our predecessors started, safeguard our republic, safeguard goodness, and reduce unkindness,” he asserted.
