Prabowo orders timely distribution of 2026 Eid holiday allowance

Jakarta (ANTARA) – President Prabowo Subianto has instructed relevant ministries to review the distribution of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday allowance (THR) for 1447 Hijriah/2026 to ensure all obligations are fulfilled and received on time by beneficiaries.

The President, in his remarks at a Full Cabinet Meeting on Eid Al-Fitr preparedness held at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Friday, also ordered that all workers’ rights be received in accordance with regulations.

“The Minister of Labour, Minister of Finance and Minister of Investment, ensure that the holiday allowance for all civil servants at central and local levels is implemented on time,” the President said.

Under government regulations, religious holiday allowances must be paid by employers to workers at the latest seven days before the religious holiday (H-7).

In addition to the THR for Civil Service Apparatus (ASN) personnel, the President also announced that the nominal value of the holiday bonus to be received by online transport drivers on Lebaran 2026 has been set at between Rp400,000 and Rp1.6 million per person.

The President expressed gratitude that during his administration, online transport drivers are receiving a holiday bonus for the first time.

“The holiday bonus for online transport sector workers, ensure that what we have determined must reach them, namely between Rp400,000 and up to Rp1.6 million per person,” he said.

According to the President, this policy represents the government’s attention to workers in the digital economy sector, who have supported public mobility.

He also expressed appreciation to all parties involved in implementing the policy so it can run smoothly.
