Prabowo Orders Rosan to Publicise Investment Data

President Prabowo Subianto has instructed Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, who is also CEO of Danantara, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, to convey various positive data regarding investment developments in Indonesia to the public. This was conveyed by the President whilst chairing a meeting of the Red and White Cabinet at his residence in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, on Sunday evening. Besides Prabowo and Rosan, the meeting was also attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, and Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body and COO of Danantara Dony Oskaria. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Teddy Indra Wijaya also joined the meeting. Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that during the meeting, President Prabowo received a report from Minister Rosan regarding the results of his working visits to the United States as well as several countries in Europe and Asia. Based on the report, he continued, there are facts and data indicating an increase in international confidence in Indonesia. ‘The report demonstrates valid facts and data showing increased international confidence in Indonesia, which is reflected in the high level of interest and inflow of investment into various national strategic sectors,’ Teddy said in a press release.
