JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto has instructed Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM and Head of the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI) Rosan Roeslani to openly convey positive data regarding investment developments in Indonesia to the public. The directive was given during a meeting with several members of the Red and White Cabinet at the President’s residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta, on Sunday, 14 June 2026. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Minister of Finance, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Supervisory Board, Minister of State Secretary, and Cabinet Secretary.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya explained that during the meeting, President Prabowo received a report from Minister Rosan Roeslani on the results of his working visits to the United States and several countries in Europe and Asia. The report indicated valid facts and data showing increased international confidence in Indonesia, reflected in high global investor interest and investment inflows into various national strategic sectors.

Following the report, President Prabowo emphasised the importance of transparent information delivery to the public. The Head of State believes the public needs a complete and fact-based picture of the national investment climate and Indonesia’s future economic prospects. “The President also ordered the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Rosan Roeslani, to convey this positive data openly to the public tomorrow afternoon, Monday, 15 June 2026, at the Merdeka Palace, as part of the government’s commitment to providing complete and fact-based information to the public,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy.

This step underscores President Prabowo’s commitment to building open, transparent, and accountable governance, while strengthening public optimism regarding investment prospects and Indonesia’s economic growth amid evolving global dynamics.
