Prabowo Orders Ministers to Present Positive Data to Public
President Prabowo Subianto has ordered his ministers to convey positive data to the public. This instruction aims to strengthen public optimism regarding Indonesia’s investment prospects and economic growth amidst uncertain global dynamics.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that Prabowo has instructed the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Rosan Roeslani, to openly present positive data to the public. “As part of the government’s commitment to providing complete and fact-based information to the community,” Teddy said in a written statement on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
According to Teddy, the presentation of this positive data will take place at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday, 15 June 2026. He noted that this step is intended to reaffirm President Prabowo’s commitment to building a transparent, accountable, and open governance system.
The report to be presented by Rosan pertains to the results of his working visits to the United States as well as several countries in Europe and Asia. Based on that report, Teddy stated, there are facts and data indicating increasing international confidence in Indonesia.
According to Teddy, this confidence is reflected in the high interest from global investors and the influx of investment into the country. “The report shows valid facts and data regarding the rise in international confidence in Indonesia, reflected by high interest and the entry of investment into various national strategic sectors,” he said.
Teddy added that President Prabowo emphasised the importance of transparent information delivery to the public. The Head of State believes that the public needs to obtain a complete and fact-based overview of the national investment condition and Indonesia’s future economic prospects.
Rosan had previously reported the results of his working visits to Prabowo during a meeting at the President’s private residence on Jalan Kertanegara IV, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, this Sunday.
In addition to Rosan, other cabinet members present at Kertanegara included the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, and the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.
Also in attendance were the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto; the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency, Dony Oskaria; the State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi; and the Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya.
