Prabowo Orders Minister Rosan to Publicly Announce Positive Investment Data at the Palace
President Prabowo Subianto has instructed Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM and concurrently Head of BPI Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, to convey to the public the latest data on investment developments in Indonesia. The directive was given when the President received several members of the Red and White Cabinet at his residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta, on Sunday (14/6/2026). This was disclosed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya through a written statement uploaded to the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account. The presentation is scheduled to take place at the Merdeka Palace on Monday (15/6/2026).
‘The President also instructed Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani to present this positive data openly to the public tomorrow afternoon, Monday, 15 June 2026, at the Merdeka Palace, as part of the government’s commitment to delivering complete and fact-based information to the public,’ Teddy said in his statement. During the meeting, the President received a report from Rosan regarding the results of his working visits to the United States and several countries in Europe and Asia. The report contains the latest developments concerning global investment interest in Indonesia.
According to Teddy, the report delivered by Rosan demonstrates increasing international confidence in Indonesia. ‘The report shows valid facts and data on the rising international confidence in Indonesia, reflected in the high level of interest and inflow of investment into various national strategic sectors,’ he said. The meeting at Kertanegara was also attended by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body, the Minister of State Secretary, and the Cabinet Secretary.
The government considers the inflow of investment into various strategic sectors as a positive indicator for the national economic outlook. Therefore, the President requested that information regarding these investment achievements be conveyed openly to the public so that the people can obtain a comprehensive picture of Indonesia’s economic and investment developments. The presentation to be delivered by Rosan at the Merdeka Palace on Monday afternoon is expected to provide more detailed explanations regarding the investment data and the results of the government’s communications with international investors during the working visits to those countries.
