Prabowo: Online Drivers to Receive Holiday Bonus Under My Administration
President Prabowo Subianto chaired a Full Cabinet Session at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday, 13 March 2026. The cabinet meeting was held in preparation for the 2026 Eid celebrations.
The Head of State instructed Minister of Labour Yassierli and Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa to promptly complete the distribution of holiday allowances (THR) to private sector employees and civil servants (ASN).
“Minister of Labour, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Investment, ensure that holiday allowances for all ASN, both at the central and regional levels, are implemented on time,” said Prabowo.
On this occasion, President Prabowo also requested that holiday bonuses (BHR) for online motorcycle taxi (Ojol) drivers be distributed in accordance with regulations.
“Also, holiday bonuses for online transportation sector workers – make sure that what we have determined reaches them, namely between 400,000 and 1.6 million rupiah per person,” he said.
Prabowo subsequently expressed gratitude that online drivers are receiving holiday assistance for the first time under his administration.
“We are also grateful that under our government, online drivers are receiving holiday bonuses,” he stated.
In another matter, the former Defence Minister also gave particular attention to food supply stability ahead of the Eid period. He instructed relevant ministries to ensure the availability of basic necessities remained secure and that prices remained controlled.
“Minister of Coordinating Affairs for Economic Affairs, Minister of Trade, Minister of Agriculture, ensure that food supplies are stable and secure and that we can maintain prices. Later, perhaps some ministers will present their reports,” he said.
In the tourism sector, Prabowo also requested that the Minister of Tourism actively promote domestic tourism destinations whilst directly monitoring conditions in the field during the Eid holiday period.
“Minister of Tourism, I request that you be actively present at tourism sites, encouraging and promoting every aspect of tourism within our nation,” he concluded.
