Today is the day of struggle for the working class. I express my thanks for the invitation to be present today with you all. This is an honour for me, thank you. I feel that the working class has always supported me on several occasions, and I feel that I became president because of the support of the working class, farmers, fishermen, and all Indonesian workers,” said Prabowo during his speech at May Day 2026, Monas, Jakarta, on Friday (1/5/2026).

Prabowo is determined to serve the interests of the Indonesian people. Prabowo also committed to fighting for the community whose lives are still difficult.

“That is my duty, the duty of the government that I lead, and that is our determination. We will not falter, we will not surrender, we will not hesitate to defend the interests of the Indonesian people,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo also stated that over the past year, the government has implemented policies that protect the people, especially the working class. Prabowo said that this month he will inaugurate the Marsinah Museum.

“We have elevated Mother Marsinah as a national hero. And this month, I will also go to Nglundo Village, Nganjuk, East Java, to inaugurate the Workers’ Struggle Museum named ‘Marsinah Museum’,” said Prabowo.
