Prabowo: No Corruption Allowed in Public Service!

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the KH. Muhammad Thohir Krui Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Pesisir Barat Regency, Lampung, on Wednesday (10/6/2026). Following the inauguration, Prabowo delivered a crucial message. “I also urge that there must be no misappropriation, no corruption, in the service to the people,” he said. According to Prabowo, the government will strive to ensure that the public can obtain medicines at the lowest possible prices. “I hope that within this year we can provide generic drugs at low prices to the people,” he stated. The KH. Muhammad Thohir Krui Regional General Hospital is part of the government’s Best Quick Results Programme (PHTC) aimed at achieving health equity in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped regions. Prabowo revealed that over the next three years, the government will build or renovate 350 to 400 hospitals across all regencies and cities throughout Indonesia. Additionally, the government will distribute 1,000 modern medical devices to regional hospitals in 514 regencies and cities, and will modernise 10,000 community health centres nationwide. “We have already built 22 regional hospitals in 2025, and in 2026 we will build another 22. And I am stating that we will build and modernise 350 hospitals in the coming three years,” he said.
