Prabowo: Next Month the State Will Receive Additional Rp49 Trillion
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto stated that the state will receive an additional approximately Rp49 trillion next month, originating from funds of corruptors that have not been managed in bank accounts.
“So next month, roughly, there will be Rp49 trillion,” said Prabowo in his speech at the handover event of the results of forest area control in the form of administrative fines and state financial recovery amounting to Rp10.27 trillion at the Attorney General’s Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
The President said he had received a report regarding the planned handover of approximately Rp11 trillion to the state next month.
The President noted that the funds are in accounts with unclear ownership, which have been announced for one year, but no one has claimed or managed them.
Prabowo stated that the unmanaged funds were then transferred for the benefit of the people.
“Perhaps he has many young wives or pets. So his wives or heirs do not know that he has money in those banks that has not been managed for years. I said it has not been managed for years and we have announced it for one year, no one came. So transfer it for the people,” said the President.
On that occasion, the President also expressed appreciation to all members of the Forest Area Control Task Force for their efforts in saving state finances.
President Prabowo witnessed the handover of the results of the control in the form of administrative fines and state financial recovery amounting to Rp10.27 trillion at the Attorney General’s Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday.
The handover consists of the collection of administrative fines and state financial recovery for 2026 worth Rp10,270,051,886,464. The stacks of trillions of rupiah were also displayed at the handover event.
On that occasion, the handover of state assets in the form of national park areas resulting from the repossession by the PKH Task Force covering 2,373,171.75 hectares from the Attorney General to Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni was also carried out.
In addition, the seventh stage of palm oil plantations resulting from the repossession by the PKH Task Force covering 2,373,171.75 hectares from the Attorney General to the Finance Minister, then continued to Danantara CEO Dony Oskaria and forwarded to the President Director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara Mohammad Abdul Ghani, was also handed over.
In his speech, President Prabowo expressed pride in witnessing the handover of the administrative fines results.
According to the President, the Rp10 trillion money is evidence that must be seen by the Indonesian people.
With that money, the government can complete the renovation of 5,000 puskesmas using Rp10 trillion in funds.
