Prabowo: My Calendar Has No Public Holidays

President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that his term in office has been filled with relentless hard work, to the extent that there have been no public holidays for him since he assumed the presidency in 2024. He made this statement during a State Address before members of the MPR, DPR, and DPD at the Parliament Building in Jakarta on Friday (14/8/2026). “According to my aides, there are no public holidays in my calendar,” said Prabowo. Prabowo emphasised that continuous work for the nation is an honour. Therefore, despite the absence of holidays, Prabowo said he feels privileged to work hard for the people of Indonesia. “I want to convey that we accept this mandate with full honour; the task from the people is an honour, the most noble thing for us, and that is why we work as hard as possible and give our all for the people,” explained Prabowo.
