Prabowo Meets with Purbaya and Bahlil at Hambalang to Discuss Strategic Matters

Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet at Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Monday, 9 March 2026. The meeting addressed national strategic initiatives and preparations for Eid al-Fitr.

According to the Cabinet Secretariat’s official Instagram account on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, attendees included Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, and Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Also present were the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces General Agus Subiyanto, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

The strategic meeting concentrated on two primary government agendas. The first concerned progress on self-sufficiency programmes. Cabinet officials evaluated developments in the food and energy self-sufficiency as well as oil programmes. The second agenda focused on preparations for Eid al-Fitr, ensuring the availability of foodstuffs and liquefied petroleum gas supplies ahead of the religious holiday.
