Prabowo Meets PPATK Head in Hambalang to Discuss Financial Oversight

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with the Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana and State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor.

Citing a post from the Cabinet Secretariat (Setkab) on Instagram, the meeting on 3 May 2026 was a routine monthly agenda with PPATK concerning the evaluation of financial transactions, as well as strict oversight of fund flows to support government transparency.

Setkab emphasised that Prabowo places serious attention on budget leakages and the optimisation of state revenues. The presence of the PPATK Head in Hambalang serves as a strong signal that the Prabowo administration will prioritise transparency and tight supervision of suspicious fund flows that could harm the state.

Furthermore, Prabowo stressed the importance of accountable financial management oriented towards real outcomes for the public.

“The President emphasised that every budget sourced from public funds must be directed precisely to its targets, managed with full responsibility, and executed on time.
