Prabowo Meets PPATK Head in Hambalang to Closely Monitor Government Fund Flows
Jakarta, VIVA – President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with the Chairman of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (PPATK), Ivan Yustiavandana, and the State Secretary (Mensesneg), Prasetyo Hadi, at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor.
“On Sunday afternoon until evening, President Prabowo Subianto received several figures for discussions, including PPATK Chairman Ivan Yustiavandana and State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi,” said Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya in his statement on Sunday, 3 May 2026.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that the meeting was a routine monthly agenda conducted by President Prabowo with PPATK.
The meeting discussed the evaluation of financial transactions and government fund flows.
“Regarding the evaluation of financial transactions, as well as strict supervision of fund flows to support government transparency,” he stated.
In the meeting, Prabowo also emphasised the importance of accountable financial management oriented towards tangible results for the public.
Prabowo, according to Cabinet Secretary Teddy, wants all budgets sourced from public funds to be managed transparently and channelled to the right targets.
“President emphasised that every budget sourced from public money must be channelled to the right targets, managed with full responsibility, and executed on time,” he said.
“This step is part of the President’s firm commitment to realising clean and corruption-free state governance,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy concluded.
