President Prabowo Subianto received the General Chair of PDI-P, who is also the fifth President of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri, at the State Palace on Thursday (19/3) afternoon. “The President received Mrs Megawati at the Palace this afternoon,” said a source, quoted from detikcom at the Palace, on Thursday (19/3). The meeting between Prabowo and Megawati was said to have lasted quite a while, discussing several matters in a comprehensive yet warm manner. “It started about an hour or two ago,” he said. The content of the meeting is not yet known. Both PDI-P and the palace side have not released information about this meeting. “Clearly, this is evidence that the President is a statesman who can receive national figures who are not even from coalition parties,” the source revealed.
