President Prabowo Subianto held discussions with several prominent figures during the Pancasila Day commemoration. Among those present were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and former fifth president Megawati Soekarnoputri, who also serves as the Chair of the BPIP Steering Council. The meeting took place in a room adorned with Red and White flags on either side and a wall lined with photos of past national leaders.
According to photos released by the Presidential Secretariat, Prabowo sat centrally with Megawati beside him. Attendees included cabinet ministers, agency heads, and former vice presidents. On Prabowo’s side were Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and State Secretariat Minister Prasetyo Hadi. Meanwhile, Megawati’s side featured former vice presidents Jusuf Kalla (10th and 12th), DPD Chairman Sultan Bahtiar Najamuddin, and MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani.
The participants engaged in a relaxed conversation with warm expressions, though the specific agenda of the meeting remains undisclosed. Earlier, Prabowo presided over the Pancasila Day ceremony and delivered a speech. He stressed that the government is implementing a national transformation strategy grounded in Pancasila values, aiming not just for progress but also to fulfil the nation’s grand aspirations.
‘We are not merely discussing development; we now have bolder ambitions. We are and will continue to pursue a national transformation strategy that aligns with Pancasila principles,’ Prabowo stated.
