Prabowo Meets Danantara CEO in Hambalang to Discuss Acceleration of Downstream Processing

President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with the Minister of Investment and Downstream Processing/Head of BKPM, Rosan Roeslani, at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java. Prabowo issued instructions regarding the acceleration of downstream processing and the strengthening of Danantara’s priority programmes.

Prabowo and Rosan appeared to be sitting facing each other. Both were seen reading documents on the table.

“Thank you, Mr President @prabowo, for the guidance on accelerating downstream processing and strengthening Danantara’s priority programmes today in Hambalang,” said Rosan.

This Danantara CEO stated that the value of government investments continues to increase. As a result, employment opportunities will also expand and drive the national industry.

“Investments in Indonesia, God willing, will increasingly add value, open more job opportunities, and drive the national industry to become more competitive,” he said.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting also discussed the next downstream processing programmes to be built in 13 locations. He mentioned that the meeting also addressed a number of investors who will invest in Indonesia.

“President Prabowo wants downstream processing not only in the energy and mineral sectors but also to be expanded into agriculture,” said Teddy in a statement on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account.
