The total assets under management of these combined companies amount to approximately US$15 trillion. The Minister of Investment and Head of BKPM, who also serves as the CEO of Danantara, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, stated that the meeting lasted nearly two hours. “Initially, it was estimated to only take an hour, but the discussions proved to be very fruitful and productive,” Rosan said in a written statement on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Rosan mentioned that during the meeting, Prabowo outlined the direction of national economic policies, steps to strengthen the investment climate, and the government’s commitment to maintaining legal stability and certainty. The dialogue then transitioned into one-on-one sessions with each company leader to discuss further potential cooperation. Rosan claimed that Danantara’s presence received a positive response from the attending global investors. According to him, they view Danantara as a potential local strategic partner for various investment schemes, both within Indonesia and on a global scale. “They also see the potential for Danantara to be a local partner, which provides comfort and confidence because we can invest together not only in Indonesia but also outside Indonesia,” he explained. Rosan shared that Prabowo emphasized during the meeting that Indonesia no longer wishes to be known as a sleeping giant. “It is time for Indonesia to rise, move, and maximize all national economic potential with global partners,” he said.
