JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya revealed the content of the meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and investor as well as Danantara advisor Ray Dalio at the Palace in Jakarta on Friday (27/3/2026). According to Teddy, the meeting between Prabowo and Dalio earlier in the afternoon discussed Indonesia’s economic prospects. “As well as the optimisation and strengthening of Danantara’s role as the engine of Indonesia’s economic growth,” said Teddy on the Instagram account @sekretariat.kabinet on Friday afternoon. This body was established by Prabowo to optimise state assets, manage strategic state-owned enterprises, and act as a Sovereign Wealth Fund. “Continue to collaborate with strategic partners to increase Danantara’s credibility and strength in the international arena,” he added. Besides Teddy, the meeting was attended by several ministers, including Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Investment and Head of BPI Danantara Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Higher Education Brian Yuliarto, and State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi. There are some energy projects and others. Investment projects, that’s it,” Purbaya said after leaving the Palace. In the meeting, Purbaya admitted that he only listened and accompanied Prabowo. “I just told him that if there are projects that are slow as he mentioned earlier, we will handle them in the debottlenecking team (identification process). In a short time, we will resolve them,” Purbaya stated. According to him, some topics touched on in the meeting with Ray Dalio included pushing for the acceleration of projects with investors from Singapore and several other countries. However, he declined to disclose more details.
