Prabowo: MBG Programme to Continue Building Healthy, Intelligent Generation

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme will continue to build a healthy, capable, and intelligent Indonesian generation.

“We are continuing to provide Free Nutritious Meals to build a healthy, capable, and intelligent Indonesian generation,” Prabowo said during the Pancasila Birth Ceremony at the Pancasila Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Monday, 1 June 2026.

Prabowo said the government is currently implementing and will continue to advance the nation’s transformation strategy.

In its implementation, the government is focusing on strengthening natural resource processing, national food security, and strengthening cooperatives and village economies.

Prabowo also stated that efforts are being made to prevent Indonesia’s wealth from leaking overseas.

“We are strengthening education, healthcare, and human development. We are improving governance to ensure the nation’s wealth does not continue to leak or flow overseas,” he added.
