Prabowo: Many Countries in Panic, But Not Us, We Have Achieved Food Self-Sufficiency
GORONTALO - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesia is in a strong condition amid an uncertain global situation, particularly in the economic and food sectors. According to Prabowo, several countries are currently facing pressures and panic due to the global food crisis. Not only food, Prabowo also touched on the direction of government policies that encourage energy independence, including reducing dependence on imports of fuel oil (BBM). He claimed that Indonesia is on track to achieve energy self-sufficiency in the coming years. Prabowo also highlighted the vastness of Indonesia’s natural wealth, which he believes must be managed well to prevent leakage or control by other parties. “If we are lazy, if the leaders are not honest or act arbitrarily, then our wealth will be taken by other nations,” said Prabowo.
