“By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon, Thursday, July 30, 2026, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, officially declare the commencement of the mass home mortgage signing ceremony for 62,000 housing units,” Prabowo said.

The ceremony was attended by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait, as well as several housing beneficiaries.

During the event in Batang, President Prabowo also spoke with several residents from different regions who were taking part in the subsidized housing mortgage signing ceremony.

The President first spoke with Stenly in Jayapura, Papua, who works as a betel nut vendor. He then continued the conversation with Sarah in Banda Aceh, who operates a grocery kiosk.

“Thank you, Mr. President. Thanks to you and the FLPP (Housing Financing Liquidity Facility) Prosperous Home Mortgage Program, we have finally been able to own our dream home for our family. May you always be blessed with good health,” Sarah told President Prabowo via video conference.

The President then spoke with Eni, a housing beneficiary from East Nusa Tenggara who also took part in Thursday’s mass mortgage signing ceremony under the FLPP scheme. Eni works as an online motorcycle taxi driver.

“How much is your monthly installment?” Prabowo asked Eni.

“Rp1.3 million, Sir,” Eni replied.

President Prabowo also spoke with subsidized housing recipients in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, and Tual City, Maluku.

Several state officials also attended the mass mortgage signing ceremony in Batang, including Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni, Head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, among others.
