Prabowo Leads Limited Cabinet Meeting at Kertanegara After Foreign Tour

President Prabowo Subianto has completed his foreign visit and arrived in Indonesia today. Prabowo immediately held a limited cabinet meeting (ratas) with a number of ministers.

Prabowo conducted a visit to the United States beginning on 18 February. He then continued his visit to London, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“I want to recount events from today. So, today is Friday, this morning the President arrived from his visit abroad. From the United States, England, Jordan, and then the UAE. Then this afternoon he held a limited cabinet meeting,” said Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta, Friday (27/2/2026).

Teddy noted that the meeting held at the residence on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, began at 4:00 PM local time. The meeting was then continued with a joint breaking of fast meal (bukber).

“Approaching the breaking of fast, perhaps around 4 o’clock. Then the limited meeting continues until breaking fast,” he said.

The meeting continued into the evening. He noted that the meeting was held in closed session. Details of what was discussed in the meeting were not disclosed.

“Then it continues again. But it is closed,” he said.
