Prabowo Launches Simultaneous Harvest at 43 Locations Across Indonesia from Malang Airbase

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated a TNI mass harvest in support of the food security programme in Malang Regency, East Java. Prabowo affirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening food sovereignty through collaboration among all components of the nation. The inauguration ceremony was held at Abdulrachman Saleh Airbase in Malang, East Java, on Friday. Prabowo stressed that this simultaneous harvest activity demonstrates that food security is not solely the concern of the Ministry of Agriculture. “I congratulate you on the implementation of this integrated TNI mass harvest, carried out simultaneously at 43 points across Indonesia. This activity shows that food security is not just the business of the Ministry of Agriculture, but is a national movement involving all the nation’s strengths. I greatly appreciate the spirit of unity, collaboration, and mutual cooperation from all components of the nation,” said Prabowo. Prabowo also mentioned a previous mass corn harvest conducted with the National Police some time ago. He stated that the TNI and Polri are inseparable from the Indonesian people. “Two months ago, on 16 May 2026, we witnessed a mass corn harvest with the National Police. Today we are witnessing the TNI mass harvest. There is sugarcane, soybeans, and rice. This shows that the TNI and Polri are not only guardians of state defence and security, but are an inseparable part of the Indonesian people,” he said. After his speech, Prabowo led the official launch of the simultaneous harvest with the TNI at 43 points across Indonesia. “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, on this Friday afternoon, 17 July 2026, by the grace of God Almighty, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, declare the simultaneous mass harvest with the TNI officially commenced,” said Prabowo, followed by the sound of a siren. Several officials accompanied Prabowo in leading the inauguration, including Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak, Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Tonny Hardjono, and Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Muhamad Ali.
