Prabowo Jokes with Minister Trenggono: No More Fainting

The moment occurred during Prabowo’s speech at the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of 13 national downstreaming projects in the Cilacap Industrial Area, Central Java, on Wednesday (29/4/2026). Prabowo greeted each of the attending officials one by one.

When greeting Trenggono, Prabowo joked that Trenggono must not faint again. The moment was met with laughter from the event participants.

“Brother Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, stay magical, yeah. No more fainting. I’ve already stopped calling you on Saturdays and Sundays, I won’t call anymore,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo also threw a joke at the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit. While joking, Prabowo remarked that Listyo Sigit’s body was getting thinner.

“Head of the Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, you’re getting thinner, aren’t you? Why are you getting thinner? Stressed?” said Prabowo while laughing.

At the end of his speech, Prabowo was surprised to see Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, who was not on the attendance list. He then apologised to Agus Gumiwang.

“Minister of Industry, why isn’t your name here? Wow, whose fault is this, I apologise, brother Agus Gumiwang, or is it my eyes that are like this,” he said.
