Prabowo Joins Students at SMPN 111 Jakarta for Free Nutritious Meal Programme

President Prabowo Subianto joined students at SMPN 111 Jakarta in Kemanggisan, Palmerah, Jakarta, to partake in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. The President personally inspected the distribution of the meals to students following their preparation in a kitchen managed by the Palmerah Nutritional Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG).

President Prabowo visited several classrooms one by one to observe the students eating the nutritious meals, which featured a menu of white rice, eggs, tempeh orek, and vegetable dishes. In one classroom, as documented by the Presidential Secretariat and the President’s media team, the President sat with the students, joined them in prayer, and ate the meal alongside them.

In another classroom, the President took the opportunity to ask the students about the taste of the food. “Is the food delicious?” Prabowo asked, to which the students of SMPN 111 Jakarta responded enthusiastically, “It’s delicious!”

From the moment he entered the school complex, the President’s arrival was met with great enthusiasm, with students cheering and calling out to him. Many students approached the President to shake hands and request autographs, while others captured the moment on their mobile devices. During the visit, President Prabowo also sang the ‘Hymne Guru’ and engaged in conversation with the students. When some students expressed their ambitions to become President, Prabowo offered words of encouragement, advising them to study hard and to strive for excellence, even motivating them to bring Indonesia to the World Cup.
