Prabowo Issues Urgent Instruction to Minister Rosan: Transparency of Investment Achievement Data

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently issued a strategic directive stressing the importance of open data regarding investment developments in Indonesia. This instruction represents a significant step in the government’s efforts to improve the transparency of national economic data comprehensively. The specific directive was delivered directly to the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Rosan Roeslani. This move demonstrates the new administration’s focus on performance accountability in the investment sector, which is crucial for the nation’s economic growth. Rosan Roeslani currently holds considerable responsibility within the government structure. He serves not only as Minister of Investment and Downstreaming but also as Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). Furthermore, Minister Rosan is also entrusted with leading the Planning and Intelligence Agency (BPI) of Danantara. This dual workload places him in a central position for coordinating various aspects of state investment planning and realisation.
