President Prabowo Subianto called one of the performers on stage following their performance at the peak of the 28th anniversary celebration of the PAN political party. Prabowo invited them for a photo together and expressed his appreciation.

The peak event of PAN’s 28th anniversary was held at the JCC, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (18/9/202<0xA0>26) evening. During the entertainment session, several performers appeared one by one, including Lebah Begantong, a Malay orchestra group.

Lebah Begantong performed songs using a ‘pantun’ (traditional poetic) style. Several figures present at the event were mentioned individually through various verses.

The performance began with a verse welcoming the presence of Prabowo. Subsequently, they delivered verses dedicated to Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and the Chairman of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan. The following are excerpts from the lyrics performed:

’We sing here bringing Malay culture

To greet all the fathers and mothers in attendance

Alhamdulillah, the awaited guest has arrived

We welcome the first leader of the Republic

This next one we greet with pride

There is Vice President Mas Gibran Rakabuming Raka

A figure of polite, friendly, and wise leadership

Accompanying the President with the Asta Cita programme

Mr Zulkifli Hasan, commonly known as Pak Zulhas

A hardworking figure who works with sincerity

The results of food self-sufficiency have satisfied the President

To realise a Golden Indonesia’

At the end of their performance, Prabowo called the singing group forward. Prabowo then stood up to invite them for a photo and offer his appreciation.

Following this, the singing group returned to the centre of the stage to conclude their performance. The event then continued with a speech by Zulkifli Hasan.
