Prabowo Inspects Police Field Kitchen at Nagekeo Evacuation Site

President Prabowo Subianto personally inspected the National Police field kitchen that prepares food daily for around 600 evacuees in Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). In addition to food, Prabowo also checked the ready-to-drink water facilities for the evacuees.

The inspection was carried out by Prabowo at Berdikari Danga Field, Nagekeo Regency, on Wednesday (26/8/2026). Prabowo was accompanied by NTT Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko while inspecting the police field kitchen vehicle.

Prabowo examined each menu item that would be served to the evacuees. Afterwards, he stepped down from the field kitchen vehicle and inspected the water treatment unit, or ready-to-drink water vehicle.

Prabowo then shook hands with every Brimob officer on duty at the site. Several Brimob officers immediately saluted Prabowo.

From the field kitchen location, Prabowo then inspected the evacuation post. His arrival was warmly welcomed by the evacuees.

“I have come here with several officials,” Prabowo said in his remarks.

Prabowo then introduced the officials accompanying him on the visit. They were Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces General Tandyo Budi Revita, NTT Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, Nagekeo Regent Simplisius Donatus, Nagekeo Deputy Regent Gonzalo Gratianus Muga Sada, NTT Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Jaya.

“With several ministers, the National Police Chief, the Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, the Governor, Regent Mr Simplisius Donatus, Mr Gonzalo, the Regional Military Commander, the Regional Police Chief, and the NTT Governor,” Prabowo said.
