Prabowo Inspects KDMP Nglawak, Nganjuk Before Inaugurating 1,061 KDMPs
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto inspected a Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperative (KDMP) in Nglawak Village, Kertosono District, Nganjuk Regency, East Java, on Saturday, before inaugurating the operation of 1,061 Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperatives at the location.
Based on observations from the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel, Prabowo arrived at the location at around 11:20 AM. Upon arrival, the President inspected the operations of the Merah Putih cooperative.
The Head of State greeted cooperative staff and listened to an explanation from the Director of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, regarding the goods sold at the cooperative.
The President also inspected the operational vehicles of the Merah Putih Cooperative, which consist of three-wheeled motorcycles, pick-up trucks, and trucks.
The inauguration of the operation of 1,061 Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperatives is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the village and urban economy through the development of productive and integrated cooperatives.
Present at the event were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Muhaimin Iskandar, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan.
Also present were Minister of Defense, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Julianton, Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sugiono, Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Human Rights, Natalius Pigai, Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar, Director of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya.
The Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperative is the sixth Astacita program of President Prabowo Subianto to stimulate the local economy so that poverty alleviation can begin at the village/urban level.
The Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperative was launched based on Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of the Establishment of Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperatives. This Presidential Instruction was issued and became effective on March 27, 2025.
This program aims to build the economy from the village and create equality and liberate people from poverty.
