Prabowo Inspects Free Nutritious Meal Programme at SMPN 111 Jakarta, Eats Alongside Students

Prabowo’s arrival was met with enthusiasm by students waiting within the school grounds. Cheers and greetings from the students accompanied Prabowo as he entered the school area, to which he responded with smiles and waves. During the inspection, Prabowo entered several classrooms to directly observe the implementation of the MBకి (MBG) programme. Inside the classrooms, students were enjoying the nutritious meals provided through the initiative.

In one classroom, Prabowo joined the students for a meal, while in another, he took the opportunity to converse with the pupils. He asked about their future aspirations, prompting many students to raise their hands. “Who wants to be a doctor? Who wants to be an engineer? Who wants to be a teacher? Who wants to be a football player?” Prabowo remarked, as reported by the Presidential Secretariat Bureau on Tuesday (2/6/2026).

The students responded enthusiastically to Prabowo’s questions. The interaction was characterised by warmth and lighthearted banter, which helped create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom. Prabowo and the students also sang the ‘Hymne Guru’ (Teachers’ Hymn) together.

Prior to visiting SMPN 111 Jakarta, Prabowo inspected a nutritional fulfilment service unit (SPPG) in Palmerah. There, he personally observed the food processing stages, ranging from raw material preparation and cooking to the packaging of meals intended for distribution to beneficiaries.
