Prabowo: Indonesia Must Be Prepared to Face Impact of Global Conflict
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has stated that Indonesia must prepare itself to face various difficulties arising from global conflicts, including wars occurring in the Middle East region.
According to him, current global geopolitical dynamics can impact various sectors, so the government and all elements of the nation must be prepared to face potential challenges.
“We face difficulties with an attitude of wanting to overcome them. We are not hiding difficulties, we are not pretending there are no difficulties,” Prabowo said, as quoted from a live broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel on Monday.
He emphasised that the government will not turn a blind eye to various challenges arising from the global situation.
Conflicts in various regions of the world, particularly in the Middle East, according to Prabowo, have the potential to trigger economic pressure and global uncertainty that could also be felt by Indonesia.
Nevertheless, Prabowo believes Indonesia possesses great strength to face these various challenges. He noted that national unity serves as the nation’s principal asset in facing crises.
“Due to the war in the Middle East, we must be prepared to face difficulties. But again, we are grateful that Indonesia actually has strength. We possess great strength,” he said.
The President is optimistic that Indonesia will be able to navigate various global challenges and even emerge from crises in a stronger condition.
“United we are strong, united we will face all difficulties, we will come through all crises,” concluded the President.
