Prabowo Inaugurates Syahganda Nainggolan as Head of Government Communications Agency

President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated Syahganda Nainggolan as the Head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom). Prabowo also appointed Fadli Tri Hartono as the Deputy Head of Bakom.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Friday (2/10/2026). The proceedings commenced with the singing of the national anthem, ‘Indonesia Raya’.

The event continued with the reading of Presidential Decree Number 106/P of 2026 regarding the appointment of the Head and Deputy Head of the Government Communications Agency. Prabowo then led the administration of the oath of office, which was followed by Syahganda and Fadli.

“That I shall remain loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and shall execute all laws and regulations with the utmost integrity in my service to the nation and state. That in performing my official duties, I shall uphold professional ethics and work to the best of my ability with full responsibility,” stated Prabowo, echoing the sentiment alongside Syahganda.

Syahganda, Fadli, and other officials signed the official minutes of the ceremony in the presence of Prabowo. Following the signing, Prabowo congratulated the newly appointed officials.

It is noted that the position of Head of Bakom was previously held by Muhammad Qodari. Qodari has now been appointed as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres).
