Prabowo Inaugurates Six New Officials Today: Including Qodari, Jumhur Hidayat to Hasan Nasbi

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto inaugurated six new officials in the Merah Putih Cabinet at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 27 April 2026.

The six officials in question include, among others, Chairman of the All-Indonesian Confederation of Trade Unions (KSPSI) Jumhur Hidayat, who was inaugurated as Minister of Environment and Forestry, replacing Hanif Faisol Nurofiq.

Meanwhile, Hanif Faisol fills the position of Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food.

Then, Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) M Qodari shifted to become Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Qodari’s position at KSP is filled by former Army Chief of Staff General TNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman, who currently serves as Special Advisor to the President for National Defence.

Furthermore, former Head of the Presidential Communication Office, Hasan Nasbi, was inaugurated as Special Advisor to the President for Communication.

Former Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding also returned to the cabinet as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency.

Subsequently, President Prabowo led the six new officials in reciting the oath of office.

“I swear by Allah that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of my duty to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the position, work as best as possible, with full responsibility,” said Prabowo.

After the inauguration, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and members of the Merah Putih Cabinet congratulated the inaugurated officials.
