Prabowo Inaugurates Nanik S. Deyang as Head of National Nutrition Agency

President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Nanik Sudaryati Deyang as the head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (8/6/2026). In addition, Prabowo also inaugurated Agustina Arumsari and Trenggono as deputy heads of the BGN.

The legal basis for their appointment is Presidential Decree Number 18/M of 2026 regarding the dismissal and appointment of the Head and Deputy Heads of the BGN and the dismissal of the Deputy Head of the BPKP. Nanik, Agustina, and Trenggono subsequently took their oaths of office, led directly by Prabowo, followed by the signing of the inauguration minutes.

It is noted that Prabowo dismissed the three previous leaders of the BGN, namely Dadan Hindayana, Lodewyk Pusung, and Sony Sonjaya, due to their involvement in corruption cases. The announcement was read by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/6/2026) evening.

On the same occasion, Prasetyo also announced Nanik S. Deyang as the head of the BGN, alongside Agustina Arumsari and Major General TNI Trenggono as Deputy Heads of the BGN. Trenggono subsequently entered early retirement from the TNI.
