Prabowo Inaugurates Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT, Recites Rhymes on Transportation

President Prabowo Subianto has officially inaugurated the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai LRT. During the inauguration, Prabowo recited several rhymes.

These rhymes were recited by Prabowo to conclude his speech before the symbolic inauguration. Two rhymes were presented.

Both rhymes pertained to advancing transportation and strengthening connectivity, which will make Indonesia increasingly competitive.

“Taking the LRT to Manggarai, stopping briefly in Kelapa Gading; as transportation advances and Jakarta becomes more vibrant, strong connectivity will make Indonesia more competitive,” said Prabowo while reciting the first rhyme at Manggarai LRT Station on Wednesday (16/09/2026).

“Watching the sun in the morning, taking the LRT into the city; advanced transportation brings joy to the people, a progressive Indonesia for us all,” Prabowo continued with the second rhyme.

Following this, Prabowo symbolically pulled a lever to mark the inauguration. Prabowo was accompanied by the Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Rano Karnative, Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi, and President Director of Jakpro, Iwan Takwin.

“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon, Wednesday, 16 September 2026, by the grace of God Almighty, I, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, hereby inaugurate the Jakarta LRT Kelapa Gading-Manggarai line,” said Prabowo leading the inauguration.
