Prabowo Inaugurates 26 Members of Presidential Advisory Council and New Leadership of Government Communication Agency
President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated several new officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Friday, 2 October 2026. As part of the inauguration series, Prabowo appointed 26 members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the Head and Deputy Head of the Government Communication Agency.
The appointment of the 26 Wantimpres members was based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 107/P of 2026 regarding the Appointment of Membership of the Presidential Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia. Meanwhile, the appointment of the Head and Deputy Head of the Government Communication Agency was based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 106/P of 2026.
During the ceremony, the newly appointed officials took their oaths of office, which were led directly by President Prabowo.
Prabowo appointed Pratikno as the Chairman of Wantimpres, concurrently serving as a member. Meanwhile, Muhammad Hatta Rajasa was appointed as Vice Chairman, also serving as a member, and Muhammad Qodari as Secretary, also serving as a member.

Following the reading of the appointment decrees, President Prabowo administered the oath to the newly appointed Wantimpres members. In the oath, the officials declared their loyalty to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and their commitment to executing all laws and regulations to the best of their ability for the sake of the nation and state.
“That I shall be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and shall execute all laws and regulations with the utmost integrity for my service to the nation and state. That in performing my official duties, I shall uphold professional ethics and work to the best of my ability with a full sense of responsibility,” stated President Prabowo while dictating the oath of office.
