Prabowo: If Anyone Obstructs the PKH Task Force, They Are Obstructing the President

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Prabowo Subianto has emphasised that any party obstructing the work of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) is effectively obstructing the duties of the head of state.

Therefore, he assured that he stands firmly behind the Satgas PKH and will utilise all available powers to uphold the law without favouritism.

“I understand you all, I understand because a president has many eyes and ears; I am aware that many Satgas PKH members are being threatened, some are being intimidated, and so on,” Prabowo stated at the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026).

In this regard, he extended thanks to the Satgas PKH for their contribution in saving more than Rp 11.4 trillion for the state.

“On behalf of all the Indonesian people and on my own behalf, I wish to express my gratitude to you who work in this Satgas PKH,” he said.

Prabowo acknowledged that the work of the Satgas PKH in restoring state finances is far from easy.

“To inspect, to audit, to check in the field is not easy. For us, for the elites in Jakarta in air-conditioned rooms, we can imagine how difficult the work of this Satgas PKH is,” he explained.
